Putting some more songs on my iPOD here, looking at iTunes but I can't seem to find some good stuff.

I've got some Zeppelin, System of a Down, Black Sabbath, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Chili Peppers, Korn, White Stripes... from that general list and maybe some other Metal you guys got any other suggestions of cool bands or rock songs period. Generate a list please and thank you.

Got some Linkin Park, but their new album sucks beyond belief. Never heard of Seether, I'll check em out on Youtube though, thanks.

Look at Queen. They are good. They have a few famous songs like We Will Rock you and We Are the Champions, songs which everyone seems to know.

Ew Queen? Glam rock, no thanks. I got one MCR song (Helena) but I do know more songs I like from them, and I've never had a wolfmother song but heard alot of their stuff. Thanks for the suggestions.

Orange Goblin
Spirit Caravan

Most of these are live because I guess they don't have other ones. Mostly Doom/stoner rock.

If you like Nirvana, you should listen to Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Temple of The Dog

If you Like Metal, you should listen to Kamelot, Sonata Arctica and Epica

And Classic rock: Thin Lizzy and Motorhead, they're underrated but they're as good as the rolling stones imo :D

I'd have to say... yes you're the only one (ok maybe not). I like Gavin's voice.

To me Serj Tank... whatever, sounds whiney.

EDIT: removed Cornell

I dunno, I think the vocalist is really whiny in this video, especially when he sings "nothing ever goes my way."

At least, that's what I think he's singing.

You're right, I'll change that. Sometimes the high pitch of his voice can annoy me.

I don't know about whiney, maybe to some he does. But he doesn't sound too great there.

I can give you a few good metal suggestions...

For Progressive Metal, I highly recommend Dream Theater, Pain of Salavation, Opeth, and even Rush is sometimes considered prog metal.

For Power/Symphonic/Gothic Metal, I suggest Blind Guardian, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Iced Earth, Ayreon, Kamelot, Porcupine Tree, Symphony X, Hammerfall, Sonata Arctica, or Epica.

If you're into Alternative Metal, there's Faith No More, Helmet, and Rage Against the Machine.

Death/Black/Heavy metal there's Iron Maiden, Machine Head, In Flames, Mayhem, Gorgoroth, Dark Tranquility, Scar Symmetry, Motorhead, and Black Sabbath/Ozzy .

For all of the newer stuff there's Disturbed, Godsmack, and even Dragonforce (Their older stuff is better, IMO.)

Well, hope that helps. PM if you want some more metal ideas.

Mad Season, Above is quite possibly my favorite album ever.

And if he likes Nirvana, I'm about 99% sure he'll like Mudhoney and Green River.
