hey i have to write one page on does TV cause violence and cause it to increase in real life...so im mainly against it..so can you gimme some good FACTS or anything good to use ?cons will be helpfull too...

you might still be able to use it, 2 10 year olds kidknapped and killed a 2 year old horribly and then blamed it on something they'd seen on tv, got bout 10 years each
my angle for the against tv causing violence would be to look at the reduction in punishment and whetehr or not the excuse actually offers a way of reducing your sentence - therefore is a load of b*llocks that people can use as an excuse to avoid jail
Err, when I'm watching TV I am not doing anything bad. I could bee doing drugs or having unprotected sex, but I'm watching TV instead....

I would suggest that those who do already have the setup for commiting bad deeds in the eyes of society. TV (or any entertainment medium) is just the trigger.

It takes more than TV to warp your sense of reality. Jumping off of a roof or shooting at other kids with guns suggests a complete and total inability to connect consequences and the actions that lead to them. IIRC this problem is a sign of parental neglect.
Two nuclear bombs were used before tv was invented. Since tv was invented, none have been used. That's definitive proof that lack of television causes nuclear war.
Edit: Nevermind, tvs were invented in the thirties. Change that to definitive proof that nothing good being on causes nuclear war. (The futures not looking so good.)
