Need some movie recommends!

Some good movie ideasto get would be nice, have signed up for 2 free rental trials and have to fill out a list of wanted movies. Something with a decent plot. Ideal(ish) movie would start off like Hostel but not with the horror gore side to it, more realistic adventure type of thing. The backpacking theme was spot on until it starting getting a bit far fetched.

I saw that last night. It's funny, but not as funny as some people make it out to be. I'd recommend Silence of the Lambs.

Nicholas Cage is a Russian immigrant who comes to America as a fake Jew to escape the Soviet Union, he gets caught up with the Russian Mob and starts selling them Uzis and wat not, then he starts getting bigger weapons like bazookas, AKs, and even tanks and becomes the second largest gun supplier in the world after the US. i think its a true story too

Thats such a lot of crap. Hostel and shawshank are so different. I mean there is no similarity whatsoever, not in setting, plot, atmosphere, emotional tint, start, middle orend. They are both such different movies. I already explained that shawshank was good, but to unrealistic to merit any better than a high 4.

I'm not saying the 2 are similar, I'm saying how could you look for something thats like hostel when you put down some of the best films ever made that if you want to really get into films you should really rent.

You should check out Sympathy for lady vengeance. Its from the same director and looks at revenge from a different angle, its also very good
