Need your opinions

I'd like to have your opinions on a photo:

Now, can you tell me the first thing you noticed?

In fact I'd like to know if you think my 3D model could be mistaken for a real photo.(Please be indulgent, it's my first try). When you spend more than 5 seconds watching the picture it's obvious that nothing's real. But I'm hoping to fool some friends who are not really familiar with the gaming world…

[spoiler] I didn't notice the table until a few seconds later...but i also didn't notice that they were supposed to look like they were floating until a few seconds.. [/spoiler]

Those are only 3-D models?? REALLY??? I did not notice a difference between the real thing and something that was purely rendered. :shock: I thought we were supposed to be looking at someone who confiscated illegal goods or something.

I don't get it. What kind of a response are you looking for? The first thing that came to my wind was, "OMG WTF DIS GUY HAS SO MANY GAMES AND XBOXES WTF"

At first look it looks like the objects are floating but I then realized a few seconds that it's a glass table that is doing the trick

I noticed the COD: Black Ops and Grand Theft Auto first.

I was just like what? FIVE ipads??

Didn't think for a moment it was a model though well done!

The trick is NOT that the games are supposed to look like floating but that the WHOLE picture is a render from a 3D model I made . There are no part of a real photo here.

I know the glass table is hard to see but it looks like that in "real life."

I keep looking and scrutinizing the picture now. That's really not a photo? :o Your modelling is amazing!

Or unless it really is a photo and you're just making a fool of me. :x

That was pretty awesome. Although I did get suspicious a tad when I noticed the biggest pile of games were all the same one. But other than that I had no idea it's not a real photo.

I only noticed there was a table when I read the comments on here :lol:

First thing I noticed was Call of Duty Black Ops/Gears of War 3 and thinking...."Wait a minute..."

The first thing I noticed were games, then hella of 360's... did they all get RROD? Then I noticed the glass table.

Many thanks to all of you ! It really encourages me to continue that kind of work. I'll just try to correct the glass material of the table (or maybe transform it into a wood table...) since a big part didn't saw there was actually a table.
