You're going to be out soon, and highschool will be gone forever. So forget the anxiety and just do whatever you want senior year, as long as it fits in with your future education plan. Whatever you do socially senior year will not matter, so for what its worth go party and ****

Relax and enjoy it. Haven't seen some of my hs friends since i graduated. the only way to stay together is to go to college together for the most part. I've lost most of my friends and we seldom talk these days the ones that i do still keep in touch with. It's a final goodbye for many friends. The solid fact is that some will: move away, past away (yes die), or just fade away. Cherish what you have now because the person you/friends are today and in this last year of highschool, will not be the same person you/friends will be in 5 years. Have fun, get in trouble (not enough to expel), lose your virginity, get stupid. Trust me when i say this--once you get into college, everything is wiped out and renewed so dont be scared to get in embarassing moments in HS. This is probably the only time to get virgin girls. LOL its the truth.

i get the same way as i have anxiety issues but in all seriousness your senior year should be probably the best year of school you'll ever have. For me it was 100% relaxed. As long as you have all of your graduation requirements done. If so then your job is to just chill really.

Just try to relax. You're in the final stretch and you're at the top of the student totem pole. You own the place now.

Oh well I don't have that many close friends in my school anyway. I'm excited to meet new people once I go to college.

Believe me, senior year rules. It's the time to just live it up and enjoy things as much as you can. And trust me, if you say you have girl problems, now is the time to work those out. Girls are actually a lot easier to talk to and a lot less mean than they first appear, just give it a shot and don't care if you mess up. What does it matter any way? Not like you'll be seeing Random Girl from High School much afterwards.

I'm starting my senior year in a week or so and I am less nervous but more anxious. I am happy and sad at the same time. I have a feeling it will go by fast though. I know for sure I will keep in touch with some of my best friends. But one thing I know is there will be so many other people I won't miss from my class. And if you want advice not to care what anyone thinks? Don't think it, do it and have fun with your senior year and if your nervous about talking aloud in class I am nervous on one thing I want to get rid of is talking to the hot/pretty girls this year. I hope this helps fellow senior :)

Don't worry about it. Just don't, nobody is really going to care about you, or think about you all that much. If you're a wallflower, nobody will have any reason to talk about you. It's the same as every other year of highschool. If talking in front of a group bothers you, speak to your teachers and ask if you could potentially avoid that, because it makes you anxious.

I just started college, and everyones advice in this thread is good.

Like others said it will be gone forever. Senior year I met my new girlfriend who I'm still with, I did many drugs and drank excessive amounts of booze with me peers. We'd party and have fun together until it all boiled down into us just enjoying eachothers company which made strong friendships.

Everyone I know wishes they could go back to freshman year, and then reminisce about all the wonderful easy times they had.

Go forth! And live your life!.

Don't be nervous, senior year is super chill. I know that's alot easier said than done. Just think that this is the last year and then you'll never have to go back. Surround yourself with friends and maybe make an effort to meet some other cool people. It's nothing to be worried about though chances are it'll fly by

Plus even if you didn't like high school you might love college. High school zero, college hero is how the saying goes 8)

Stay motivated and work hard rather than worrying about the social aspects of it so much. You're there to get into a good college and not to worry what everyone else thinks. You should have fun and live it up, don't put that as your first priority though. Best of luck to you!

I'll be a senior in a week or so and I don't care at all if I don't see most of those people. Most highschoolers all suck monkey balls imo. Anyone I want to see I'll keep contact with.

I started senior year last week, and I realized the hardest part of the year will be making sure I actually do something in school. Senioritis kicked in second day of class. I already have all my credits so I don't need any classes, plus my spot at the college I want to go to is almost guaranteed.

Yeah i get that too, i have that right now too bro going into senior year same as you, i even made a account just to say how i feel, its senior year bro last year of grade school last year of bullsh***ing around all that, just relax and look into the future and the school year with optimism man you just got to overcome your fears of talking aloud in class, yeah man i get used to get like that, i would think dam mann my voice is going to crack or something etc, which it has happened to me badly and these girls were laughing at me but its whatever i dont even care lol. Point is just ease up man, do the most you can with your friends, get with girls, party, do good in school just live it up man last year its just fear that your fearing, The only thing to fear is fear itself homie, pre school anxiety has always gotten to me too but once you realize its your last year and work isnt going to be as hard as all the other years and you can drive do more things since your older, it makes me happy and honestly this year is going to be crazy im not settling for less basically you shouldnt either.
