I shouldn't try to go game shopping with my boyfriend =P He knew I wanted to go to a game shop, but decided to go into a clothes shop first anyway and spent *ages* trying on a pair of jeans.... Gah. Was tempted to walk off to the game shop and leave him in the fitting room =P
Then when we finally got to the game shop, he was the one who wanted to leave first =P
[QUOTE="Phantsy16"]I guess im just not as geeky as you :PSajo7
News flash bud, you're on a video game forum.
True enough, but i am never the less, still a casual gamer. I dont have time to game lol I have work to do and bills to pay and a family to feed (I say family, i got a kid on the way:)
Yeah, two Pandas in a game shop doesn't really go down well....panda_powerIdk why that's so funny, but it is. I just wish i had a gf. When i did, i always wanted to get her into them but i didn't know a good game to do it with.

[QUOTE="Phantsy16"]My girlfriend is quite... shell i say, common? She is just a typical gurly, clothe shopping (I cant stress enough how long she takes:( ) and loves her music. And yes, i do get the dreaded "Games are for kids" speech, quite often lol.jrlc1same here.
I say never let your gf know too much about your video game habit. I was with my now ex at the mall, and I went into EB games to see if they had BF2 in. The guy said he had a copy in the back so he went to go get it. I started talking to some other guy in the store about games and totally ignored my gf. When the guy came back, I said "We can go now babe". I turned around and she was gone. I couldn't get a hold of her for 3 days. When I finally did she said "In case you haven't gotten it by now, it's over, you f*****g dork."Flank_Left
I'd say the moral of the story is either a) don't totally ignore your gf in public or b) find a girl who accepts you for who you are, gaming and all. Not sure which.
