New Batman Movie: Eddie Murphy as the Riddler?

I am not sure if this is set in stone yet, but according to this source Eddie Murphy will be playing the role of the Riddler, and Shia Labeouf will play Robin.

Nothing about a third film has been made official. Anything you hear or read about are fan and industry rumor-mongering. If Nolan follows the same pattern he did after Batman Begins there won't be any news about the third film until after he finishes his upcoming project, Inception.

I'm pretty sure that's a false rumor. There won't be a new Batman movie for a while.. until Chris Nolan is done with Inception.

Actually, I liked Jim Carrey as The Riddler, particularly when combined with Tommy Lee Jones. They were amusing, and, after all, that movie wasn't supposed to be very serious. Don't get me wrong-the movie itself was pretty bad-but Carrey/Jones were fine in it, given what they had to work with. They were far from spectacular, but were definitely amusing :).

it's fake. Nolan has already stated that Robin will not appear in his series of Batman films.

Bale's been quoted in saying that there will not be a Robin in the series. I'd like to see Johnny Depp do The Riddler.
