I'm not a huge camaro fa, but the new Camaro looks like a beast. Plus if I were to get one in 4-5 years(still in college) it would definitely be the one with the V8. Also I'm not sure I'd choose the Camaro though because for 4-5K more I can get a nice C5 or an older C6 Corvette which is my dream car.

Actually. I was planning to wait for the new Camaro to arrive last August, but I couldn't wait for it so I took the Scion. The Camaro in a very pretty car but the Cars I want.....are pretty much in the $250,000 plus range....wish me luck on that

But even if they go down second or third, you're going to have a hard time finding replacement parts for your camaro down the road.

sure...everyone needs a muscle car. Let us not lean the ways of conservation and efficiency, but towards the end-all attitude that we should all be able to drag race our way to personal freedom and the american way.

Sorry, I'm a Mustang guy. The true pony car. And don't go saying "Oh the Camaro is faster" or "The Camaro is better built." Because when it comes right down to it, the Camaro just copied Ford :P.

It is a nice car though, much cooler than the Challenger. If I got one it would be a Manual 8 cylinder in Metallic Teal.

Screw muscle cars man...it's a ideology of transportation that should've died 40 years ago. Nobody needs that much horsepower unless they plan to use it for work.

Dude, that thing is too freaking gigantic. plus, riding on the failure of GM, they are putting a hold on the top of the line z28 version indefinately. i don't especially like the american ideal of big engined gigantic cars with archaic suspension, but i guess the thing is still pretty cool. by the way, i saw one in real life, the coupe version, it was freaking HUGE.

umm, nooooo ford is the least close to going down. ford has pretty much almost already adapted thier US product line. with things like the Fusion hybrid, and the new Taurus SHO, they are looking the best of the americans..

how does that amount to anything? the volt isn't even close to being released, and the Camaro won't save anything now, GM is literally weeks away from having to be restructured.

I really liked the Camaro Black that was at the auto show this year. Some pictures I took:
