This happens all the time. I got my 30GB ipod last year and its still not filled up now they have the 80GB for the same price. I'm not too impressed with the ipod touch. Still a bit too pricey and not enough storage space. Those new nano's are slick though and I feel bad for anyone who just bought the current model.
I'd honestly consider opening up the iPod Touch and soldering in a few more flash memory chips, because 16GB isn't worth that price. I understand that they've put some nice new features in, but why don't they wait until Christmas 2008 or something so that the technology inside becomes cheaper to produce, cheaper for consumers to buy, and therefore get more sales.
