I didn't like the first one so I didn't bother watching the second. It's an overly hyped movie that sucks.

What are you talking about? Bad acting? A movie that grossed $230 million over a weekend cant have that much success after all. Its not like the all the people that watched it are mindless tween little girls that will eat up anything that has fantasy, hot pedophile vampires that glitter in the sun....oh wait
New Moon had the worst acting you will ever see don't recamend watching it.B3ondfinalsome how.. I doubt that.
[QUOTE="Legendaryscmt"]it beat the dark night in the box office it better have good ****ing acting guess what? 99% of the people who paid were TEENS without any brains who were in love with the "actors"So wait, did you walk into that movie expecting to see an oscar winning performance by Ambercrombie models with spray on tans?

It's funny, the people who complain about Twilight have become so much more annoying than those who love it. And did anyone really go for the acting? I mean, I know the only reason I'd go is for this guy:
I saw it, and you're pretty much right there :Pramboturd72Basically it's a chick flick, and IMO, if you are a guy, and you go, you better be getting dragged by a woman. And of course, you would be whipped...:P

Lol, I agree with this. Plot looks horrible, acting looks horrible, and The Fact that the guy has his shirt off the whole movie is pretty pathetic. It's used to keep the Teenagers interested. I can guarantee that if everyone stayed clothed no one would go see this. :P

Kind of like the first one, where everyone was clothed the entire time? Wait...

I think there were at least two Semi-Clothed scenes in the first one. :P
and this is all that needs to be said.So wait, did you walk into that movie expecting to see an oscar winning performance by Ambercrombie models with spray on tans?

I told myself I would avoid a thread like this at all costs. And here I am. Oh well, I will drop in, say my piece, and get out.
I hate Twilight and anything affliated with it. (ie Kristin Stewart and Robert Patt-can't remember last name). They don't know how to act at all. The only reason I saw New Moon was because I took my boyfriends niece to see it. She's obsessed with Edward. I hate what Meyer is doing to children. :P
Stephanie Meyer can't write, her vocabulary is redundant and childish, and her idea of love and sacrifice is unoriginal. I hate that vampires are taking over our culture. There are so many more thought provoking books out there, yet people waste their time on trash like Twilight and Sookie Stackhouse.
I don't want to get in an argument about Twilight with fangirls or boys, (some part of me feels like I might be a part of the majority here, but I'd really rather not find out) so I will just say that if you like Twilight/New Moon/whatever title that has absolutely nothing with the plot/story, I have nothing but pity for you, because you are missing out on great literature. If you want fluff, there's better fluff than Bella Swan. I promise. :P

Oh, it's very original. Look how she made the vampires. That's extremely original. I guess Meyer tried to be different but ruined vampires forever...[QUOTE="MrsSolidSnake"]
[QUOTE="trust_nobody"]
I couldn't have said it better myself. I can't even say that it had potential to be Oscar-worthy because it's simply unoriginal.trust_nobody
By making them feminine, weak-looking, and soft? :P Sparkling vampires, where is the terror in that? At least the Sookie Stackhouse (aka True Blood series) managed to keep them frightening. Meyer turned them into sprites.

LOL I completely agree. I've never heard people whine and complain like a bunch of 1st graders on a playground so much in my whole life.

I know, right? ****'s getting ridiculous. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Simple as that. And if you dislike something with such a passion, I fail to see why you'd want to talk about it so much.

I try to be calm and rational in my arguments, but the problem is, I just get too worked up about what I don't like. It doesn't matter what it is. So I apologize if I've been childish. :P
