This looks to be a very entertaining..action packed movie. I can already hear the claims that those video game hating lawyers will have against this though lol

I'm not really a fan of mindless action films, and I didn't like 300 that much.

Interesting, Gerard Butler is great, and Michael C. Hall is in it which makes it auto win.

Actually, taking a look at the cast, they have a pretty good one. Also there is a person named Rick Rape in the movie (Played by Milo Ventimiglia), and that is hilarious.

This move looks so awful, the same stupid plot with a little gaming gimmick. The Condemned was at least hysterically bad, this seems just horrible.

Hey, I love intelligent media, literature, and etc as much as the next person (who enjoys this).

But sometimes, you gotta just accept mindless, intense, hardcore, badass, high budget violence for what it is. lol.

And regardless of how cheesy it may look, Im gunna watch it and probably enjoy it.

It's mindless entertainment that requires no more thought than just putting the DVD into the player, that's why. Movies don't always have to be cinema masterpieces with superb acting and unparalelled thought provoking themes and dialogue. It's fun to watch cool CG, intense action, or huge explosions once and a while. I can appreciate the finer art in cinema, but that doesnt mean I don't enjoy some of the more low brow stuff.Im_single

I know we're all entitled to our own opinions, but man, when I see people being "nitpicky" on movies.....wheww....its frustrating. Oh well, I'll enjoy this movie, I already know. You folks that think this movie is going to be so dumb, go ahead and sit at home or whatever, I'll be having a blast watching an amazing (somewhat new?) actor, Gerard Butler, kick some butt in a movie that I think we'll be incredible. If every action movie had a great plot and great action than I'd be all for it, but it's unrealistic to expect that from Hollywood. Don't get what I am saying wrong either, I dont prefer my movies to have generic characters, huge explosions and CG up the whazoo, I can just appreciate the movie even if it is just a summer blockbuster that I am only going to watch once and forget about the next day. I also prefer my movies with a viable interesting plot, but I can appreciate those without.Im_single
