What is the plot all about? I mean I saw the trailer in thatres and it's about convicts getting controlled by kids in warfare, but then my friend told me it has some relation to Gears of War? WTF? Was he right or is he retarded? And anyway what is the conflict in the story?

It looks like one of those movies that will take gaming as a serious hobby in the world back a few steps.

I'm going with the second option.

I love Michael C. Hall, but he can do better than this. it looks like good cheesy fun, but not much else.

Looks like mindless fun, much like Death Race was, I'll probably rent it when it comes out.

It reminded me of Death Race too. Therefore, pretty good mindless action.
