I just bought the 10th editions core starter set today and I got this card called FEMEREF ARCHERS, it saids when I tap it I deal 4 damage to target attacking creature with flying.

It is a creature - human archer, 2/2

Does that mean I can target any of my opponents flying creatures and dealing 4 damage to it and killing it if their toughness is under 4/4?

Lets say my opponent has a 2/2 flying creature, I choose to attack and use FEMEREF ARCHERS ability to kill it because it can deal 4 damage to it and still deal the 2 damage to my opponents life points?

I have a sorcery card called HURRICANE, it deals X damge to each creature with flying and each player. So lets say i pay 7 for the X cost, does that mean I'll deal 7 damage to myself and to my opponent and kill off the flying creatures that have a toughness lower than 7?

Also when a card saids at the beginning of your upkeep... does upkeep mean beginning of your turn?

I have a land that can become a red Warrior if I pay the cost. When I pay the cost and it becomes a 2/1 with first strike until the end of turn. So does that mean everytime I want to do that, does it still get summoning sickness?

What is flash?

1) If a flying creature from an opposing player is attacking, you can instantly tap the card (AKA, use it's turn) to attack the flying creature first. In many cases that will cause the opposing player to place the flyer in his graveyard, thus negating the flyer's attack.

2) Yes

3) Yes

4) No

5) I don't know.

yes

no, it only targets the creature, you could deal 500 damage to a single 2/2 creature, but none of the extra damage would do anything

yes at or below 7

kinda, untap, upkeep, draw, first main, combat, second main, end phase

no, its not put from your hand into play.

not sure, you could go onto the magic website and have your questions answered.

ok thx everybody, but 1 more question about the Femeref Archers, it's a 2/2 creature and it has the ability to deal 4 damge to any flying creature. What I'm trying to ask is if I can use that ability to kill of the creature flying and still be able to attack my opponent for 2 damage? Not the 2 damage from the ability, but from the attack -2/2.

I got an enchantment card called Blanchwood Armor, and it saids "enchanted creature gets +1/+1 for each forest you control."

Does that mean for each forest I control during that turn or throughout the game?

For everytime a play a forest, it gains +1/+1 or just during that turn is what I'm trying to ask?

Read the reminder text. That's what Flash does.

Blanchwood Armor gives the enchanted creature +1/+1 for each FOREST YOU CONTROL meaning for as long as Blanchwood is in play. So let's say you cast it Turn 3, Enchanted Creature will get +3/+3 and then you drop a Forest on Turn 4 the Enchanted creature will get an additional +1/+1.

the first number is the attack damage and second is the hp - so if the creature is more than x/4, it won't do anything - until the next turn, unless you have another creature that can add to what your first attack did

The Xth edition "manlands" (Faeire Conclave, Treetop Village, and I forget the names of the rest of them) only have summoning sickness if you turn them into creatures the turn you play them.

if its a tap ability then no, you can't attack. Once a creature, land, enchantmet, etc is tapped, its used up, and can only be used again if it is un-tapped

Da_Ryce_One

its an enchantment that lasts as long as the creature lives or it isn't dispelled.

so if you played it when you had 5 forests out, it would give the enchanted creature +5/+5. then next turn, if you play a forest, it would give an additional +1/+1
