Wow! Last night was one of the greatest nights I've ever lived!!!

I went to see Nickelback in Philadelphia with Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace!!

For some reason Three Days Grace and BB had a horrible sound setup, at least for those of us in the upper deck. It wasn't very loud and it was hard to make out their words but it was still exciting. "Diary of Jane" was freaking amazing!!

Then there was about a 30 minute wait after they tore down BB's setup....There wasn't anything going on on stage so we were wondering what the heck was going on....Then comes a completely unexpected BOOOOOOM as a firework type thing exploded above the stage and simulataneously the stadium went dark....Then comes this heart beat sound effect getting faster and faster until another BOOOM came which shut out the lights on stage and then they came back on and this curtain had fallen and there was Nickelback...LOL I found that startling and exciting...

Nickelback but on an INCREDIBLE show! I wasn't a huge fan until they blew me away last night. They were so exciting. The pyrotectnics were awesome...The music was awesome..... It was simply incredible...

And this one guy from Pantera played with them and then they did a Dime Bag Darrel tribute which was really cool (they covered one of their songs...side of a bullet or whatever)....I never liked Pantera but Nickelback made it a great song.....

So much more went on....Their lead singer definitely knows how to excite a crowd...I was deafened by the screaming, it was insane.... There were a lot of funny moments too.. This dude made it passed security and jumped on stage and then was tackeled and taken away and Nickelback's singer was like "What the h* was he going to do, hug me? Anyone else wanna be a rock star?"

The show was just the greatest thing I've ever seen.....All three bands were great and I had a great time...

Plus I got to see Philly and ate my first REAL Philly Cheesesteak for $8...lol... We didn't drive through the city so I was a bit dissapointed but I got to see it and that was cool...I wanted to see the Rocky statue...:P

Not a fan, but sounds like an amazing time. When I saw the Rolling Stones a few months ago it blew me away. Concerts are awesome:D

Cool, glad you had fun, concerts are always a great time. Its almost like its a different world once you get in there. Philly is a huge city, and has a lot of cool places to see but the roads are a big jumbled mess. Anyways, its cool that you had a good time. I think I might have to go to a concert sometime this summer or this year sometime, its been a while.

Did you enjoy the cheesesteak? Or as we call it, Heart Attack and Stroke on a bun?

Not a fan, but as long as you had a good time. I don't really like pyrotechnics with my shows.

i dislike this band a lot. I also dislike how these bands always have fireworks (Green Day also comes to mind), i rather have a great band play with no fancy stuff to try to impress me with their "Pretty colors"

I'm glad you had fun though :)

The fireworks really got me excited. I had like no sleep so they got my heart pounding (the ones that caught me by surprise)...They also seemed to raise my adrenaline level.. They went along perfectly with the music. If I just wanted to hear the music I'd listen to the CD and make it sound live...I was there to be entertained and of course fireworks and explosions entertain us. Again they went with the music...They had these sparkler type things that fell from above during one of the slow songs as the lighting went all blue and it was awesome looking...... They looked like shooting stars falling to the stage...

Yep... I never thought I'd say this but it actually had TOO MUCH meat on it!! LOL...I got 3/4 through and was stuffed.... It was really good steak too, not cheap frozen crap but thick and juicy.... They'll never be the same around here now :~p. I think I'm going to drive to Philly one day this summer maybe and walk around the city... I loved that one building that was all colorful at night!!! Hopefully I don't get mugged when I go though :P I hear stories about that place....lol..... The police don't seem to be much of a presence their either...Before the show I was smelling pot everywhere outside and there was like one cop car there......At the show these people were smoking pot a few rows behind us and it kind of annoyed me simply because I haven't smoked any in four years..... You'd think they would be more in control of that crap.

concerts wouldnt be concerts without pot. getting high at a concert is a very integral part of the experience.

I've seen Nickelback in concert twice, and even if you're not a fan their concerts are truly something. Good to hear you enjoyed it.

Those groups are all playing together less than half a mile from me tonight. They're playing in Pittsburgh right on campus.
