Shinedown, I can tolerate them. Atleast their music changes up a bit, or atleast they make an attempt to. Every new Nickelback song I hear sounds just like the last.
I used to like Shinedown when I was a kid...then again I also liked Nickelback too for a couple months...Although I still listen to Shinedown, so I'll go with them, but I barely listen to them anymore.

Well I've only heard two songs from Shinedown. The theme song to WM22 and heroes. I like the song heroes, Nickleback, I've heard a bunch of their songs and only like maybe 4 of them...Hmm this is hard. I will vote later.

Yeah, I used to just listen to the same music as my brother when I was a kid just because I was too lazy to find my own music, then when I was like 12 or 13 I found Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, etc. and branched off from his tastes (Shinedown, Seether, Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman). I can tolerate the sounds, but it sure as hell doesn't appeal to me.
What happened to rock? Even in the 90s, after grunge waned, we had bands like Collective Soul, Stone Temple Pilots, Goo Goo Dolls, Bush... hell I even liked Creed (don't kill me :cry: ). Pretty good stuff. Nothing close to classic rock, but I liked it. Then Daughtry's Theory of a Nickel Shining Three Doors Down just plunged rock into saminess, along with hundreds of imitators.
Serioulsy Nickleback is the GOAT. I remember one where it was them vs The beatles haha laughble Nickleback is an insanely talented band. No one and I mean NO ONE can compare!!!!

Leave A Whisper is their best album ever. 8) I like the 2nd and 3rd one as well, but not as much as the 1st one.
This is a very tough question. Nickelback is clearly the best band in the world, but then again Shinedown is also clearly the best band in the world. Im not sure what to think. Lets make a chart of what makes both bands the best in the world. So Nickelback obviously has the sex appeal going for them. I mean their lead singer, Curt Kobain, is pretty darn sexy. Then again, Shinedown has some pretty amazing guitar solos. I mean, gun to my head i would probably sleep with every member of both bands, but I guess what this comes down to is who would i rather have a drunken party with. Kobain seems like hes a pretty angry drunk, and as you all know i enjoy angry lovers, so im leaning towards Nickelback. But now that I think about it, this is just one of those things that can never be decided. Its like asking to choose between Sarah Jessica Parker and Seabiscut for hottest horse ever. It simply cannot be done.
Both bands are extremely commercial and superficial to some extent, but Shinedown rub me far less the wrong way than Nickelback does. Why that is, I can't quite put my finger on...
