When I was in the army I was lean and in great shape - and when I got out, I guess I subconsiously thought I would stay in shape. Haha yeah well I gained some weight.

Tonight I went to the gym for the first time in 4 months and I feel AWESOME. Yeah it hurt, but I just feel so refreshed right now. If you guys out there want to start a Gym Forum with me on GS - maybe we can all get into shape together. Post workout tips, progress reports and pictures.

If anyone is interested, just PM me. That's not what this thread is about. I'm just saying though.

I feel great.

I've become somewhat addicted to it, although my workout routine ain't that complex. Good thing I went to the army, cause it really kicked me to exercise.

I'm with you - I've just been returning to the gym after having my baby. Progress reports and pictures would be fun :D Will you be starting a fitness forum?

I am 6 foot 4 and weigh 250 pounds. A year ago i was 225, i used to do 10 miles on the excercise bike 5 days a week, which kept me in great cardio shape. I dont pump iron that much since I believe cardio is more important since heart attacks run in my family, although I am only 23 years old I need to start doing my workouts again. I have enough strength so lifting isnt as important, but I feel like a million bucks when I work out its just a great feeling that I need to start getting again.

So I messed up my registration. When I put my billing info I put the wrong email, and it validated a different GS account I never use, not this one. So I emailed tech support. I hope they can fix the issue :(

Im totally addicted to Anaerobic workout 4 days a week, i know how you feel. Especially if you take supps, after your workout you feel like running 5 miles and just having some fun.

I will create the board, and we can all give tips on works that we know, and also eating habbits and other tips for those who want to get into shape, lose some pounds, or just gain more muscle.

Dude i think you should just go to bodybuilding.com forums for this type of stuff. Theres only a few people on these boards who probably go to the gym and are actually in good shape. And from what ive gathered, all unions ive joined always die and people stop posting.

Dude i think you should just go to bodybuilding.com forums for this type of stuff. Theres only a few people on these boards who probably go to the gym and are actually in good shape. And from what ive gathered, all unions ive joined always die and people stop posting.

Why not though? Stay within the realm of GS - that's why there are union boards, am I right? So we can have our own style and hobby boards as a perk for subscribing. I think it might help some people who spend too much time video gaming like I've been. I'd like to help myself and help others kind of as a team thing. I mean I was in the army and we'd PT every morning as a squad/platoon. It was a real moral booster. Gives a sense of belonging thus aiding in motivation.

Anyone can google something and get an answer, it's more about interaction rather than "How and Why".
