No one my age seems to like U2. I personally love them. I even have a U2 iPod. Also they got me liking 80's music. Anyone here like it or have a theory as to why younger people dont like this great band?

u2 is liked by a variety of age groups, excluding those of course who dont like bono...even though he donates a billion dollars to help people

I used to like them when I was about 16 and did some assignment on them. They definitely tanked after Joshua Tree and Bono became such an activist.

I don't know any who likes U2, no one talks about them. I'm the biggest Nickelback fan, and all of my friends are asking me to give them the songs from the 4 albums I got (only need 1 more to get all the songs, might get the Three Sided Coin, but no point, got all the songs from it on the other albums).

U2 is alright. I've listened to them since I was like... 13 maybe. They're not the greatest but they have their moments.

You're right, most people under the age of 18 dislike U2.

Mainly because they really are one of the most overrated bands ever, and Bono should go stick his head in a blender.
Bore-fest songs.

My friends at uni had a stage where they all loved the Joshua Tree. They never shut up about... but I suppose I am of the back end of the generation who like their earlier work. Although I was 2 when The Joshua Tree was released...
