This impartial video provides incontrovertible proof that North Korea surpasses the United States of America as a haven of tranquility, social justice and cultural sophistication.

On March 22, 2006, the Associated Press reported from South Korea that a North Korean doctor who defected, Ri Kwang-chol, has claimed that babies born with physical defects are rapidly put to death and buried. A United Nations report also mentions how disabled people are allegedly "rounded up" and sent to "special camps." People diagnosed with autism and other related disorders are often persecuted.

The state forcibly drafts girls as young as 14 years to work in the so-called kippŭmjo that includes prostitution teams. The source used is unclear as to whether only adult kippŭmjo are assigned to prostitution or whether there is prostitution of children - other kippŭmjo activities are massaging and half-naked singing and dancing. Many are "ordered to marry guards of Kim Jong-il or national heroes" when they are 25 years old.

And let's not forget this:

According to a United States Department of State report, prison conditions "were harsh and life threatening, and torture occurred. Pregnant female prisoners underwent forced abortions in some cases, and in other cases babies were killed upon birth in prisons." North Korea's government is said to routinely detain, torture and imprison thousands of individuals who are either dissidents or alleged saboteurs. The report stated:

"Methods of torture and other abuse reportedly included severe beatings; electric shock; prolonged periods of exposure to the elements; humiliations such as public nakedness; confinement for up to several weeks in small "punishment cells" in which prisoners were unable to stand upright or lie down; being forced to kneel or sit immobilized for long periods; being hung by the wrists; being forced to stand up and sit down to the point of collapse; and forcing mothers recently repatriated from China to watch the infanticide of their newborn infants. Defectors continued to report that many prisoners died from torture, disease, starvation, exposure to the elements, or a combination of these causes.

"During the year Shin Dong-hyuk, a defector born and confined in a political prison camp in Kaechon in South Pyongan Province for 22 years, explained that beatings and torture were common within the camp. Shin reported that he was tortured with hot coals while being hung from the ceiling after members of his family tried to escape from the camp.

"Officials prohibited live births in prison and ordered forced abortions, particularly in detention centers holding women repatriated from China, according to refugee reports. In some cases of live birth, there were reports that prison guards killed the infant or left it for dead. In addition guards reportedly sexually abused female prisoners.

"Reeducation through labor, primarily through sentences at forced labor camps, was a common punishment and consisted of tasks such as logging, mining, or tending crops under harsh conditions. Reeducation involved memorizing speeches by Kim Jong-il.

Prison and Detention Center Conditions

"NGO, refugee, and press reports indicated that there were several types of prisons, detention centers, and camps, including forced labor camps and separate camps for political prisoners. Defectors claimed the camps covered areas as large as 200 square miles. The camps appeared to contain mass graves, barracks, worksites, and other prison facilities.

"Those sentenced to prison for nonpolitical crimes were typically sent to reeducation prisons where prisoners were subjected to intense forced labor. Those who were considered hostile to the regime or who committed political crimes, such as defection, were sent to political prison camps indefinitely. Many prisoners in political prison camps were not expected to survive. The government continued to deny the existence of political prison camps.

"Reports indicated that conditions in the political prison camps were harsh. Systematic and severe human rights abuses occurred throughout the prison and detention system. Detainees and prisoners consistently reported violence and torture. According to refugees, in some places of detention, prisoners received little or no food and were denied medical care. Sanitation was poor, and former labor camp inmates reported they had no changes of clothing during their incarceration and were rarely able to bathe or wash their clothing.

"The government did not permit inspection of prisons or detention camps by human rights monitors."

I love how people say North Korea reminds them of Nazi Germany. Do you even know what Germany was? It was a fascist country which means it was controlled completely by big corporate companies. America is basically a Nazi Germany. We went into Iraq for the stupidest reasons and noone said anything about it. They're just like, **** yea, AMERICA" go kick brown ass!. Pretty ****ing stupid to me

Oh, all the brilliant german scientists behind all that bs, they were saved and sent to America to live happy lives and I don't know what else.

I can meet pretty girls in North Korea? That's it, I'm sold.Jaks_Secret
Its actually kind of funny. My guide in China was explaining to me how to tell the difference between Japanese, Korean, and Chinese girls and when it came to Korean girls he said to me "They're very pretty I'm not sure why though," then whispered "I think they get plastic surgery" I cracked up.

There is SF4 in NK? There are Xbox 360s in NK? There is Internet in NK? There is electricity in NK? Mind blown.

ah...yea. If there trying to make NUKES, what makes you think they dont have simple things like electriclty...or the internet etc....

No, they don't have internet, at least not the commoners (who are most likely to be playing Street Fighter 4).

[QUOTE="jimbojones_sw"]I love how people say North Korea reminds them of Nazi Germany.

Oh, all the brilliant german scientists behind all that bs, they were saved and sent to America to live happy lives and I don't know what else.thardus317

Umm yeah... Fascism is when the state controls everything...

most people didn't want the government to bail out companies, most people didn't want government at war. i thought this was a democracy?

The part with the little kids and the puppies running through the street happily cracked me up. I wonder how the people in the NK are enjoying their new satellite which they probably have no idea blew up past Japan and failed miserably.

That's pretty cool that a country as small as north korea can send its own satellites up into space. imo

I question where the person who put together that video lives in this world. Bush may have sucked as a President, but to compare him to Hitler is moronic.
