I don' t know what north korea is thinking. the time countries were superpowers is over and if they start a war all other countries will just gang up on them, no one wants war anymore, it's bad for economy.

yes, China basically has a grip of NK since they export supplies which the NK vitally need to run an army. China will cut supplies for NK and a week or so they would surrender.

I think war between the North and the South will probably happen eventually. In fact the entire asia region will probably see a huge war this century. As Mordin Solus might surmise fast developing nations with hunger for resources, a shortage of women and people like Kim Jong-Un who have a serious Napoleon complex all point to an increased likelihood of war and aggression. The US and other nations just need to try their best to stay out of it when it does happen because it's going to make the last little conflict asia had in WW2 look tame by comparison. You don't want to be anywhere near it when it happens much less involved. The US isn't going to have the strength to break up the fight this time unless it happens early this century rather than mid or late century.
