I don't think any nearby countries will be too pleased, N. Korea would get blitzkrieg'd so fast...

Alot of other countries would help to wipe out North korea if they start nuking us and no one would help them at all. Closest ally is china and im pretty sure they won't get in the war at all. And don't North Korea only have one major city with electric and stuff like that? How would they win...
SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea warned Saturday that joint U.S. and South Korean military exercises poised to begin this weekend amount to a military provocation that will draw a "powerful" nuclear response from Pyongyang.
North Korea routinely threatens war when South Korea and the U.S. hold joint military drills, which Pyongyang sees as a rehearsal for an attack on the North. The latest threat comes amid increased tensions on the peninsula over the deadly sinking of South Korean warship that Seoul and Washington blame on Pyongyang.
The allies' defense chiefs announced earlier in the week that they would stage the drills to send a clear message to North Korea to stop its "aggressive" behavior. Forty-six South Korean sailors were killed in the March sinking of the Cheonan, considered the worst military attack on the South since the 1950-53 Korean War.
North Korea vehemently denies any involvement, and says any punishment would trigger war.

What if they are wrong at pointing the finger at North Korea for the sinking of the Cheonan? I'd be pissed as well

China has allies it likes better than N.Korea, plus I don't think the Chinese would be happy about nuclear fallout, being so close and all. I think within a few weeks countries like China, Russia, S.Korea, Japan, France, USA, UK and maybe Canada and Australia would all just wipe them off the face of the Earth.
Nukes? Is that his solution to everything?
"Dear leader, it seems we have run out of eggs for your glorious breakfast."
"Launch the nukes!!!"
in all seriousness, Kim Jong Il as no real intention of nuking anyone, and he never has. Threatening to nuke places is how he stays relevant on the world stage. if it wasn't for their nuclear arsenal, North Korea would be as irrelevant as every other deeply impoverished nation.Rhazakna
Agreed. Didn't he basically threaten to nuke Hawaii as well? The man needs to threaten and boast every month or so or people forget he exists. He's just a troll.
