North Korea threatens to wipe the U.S off the map.

I saw this, but saw nothing on the forums about it, so I thought I would share.

Security Council resolution requires member states to seek permission to inspect suspicious cargo. North Korea has said it would consider interception a declaration of war and on Wednesday accused the U.S. of seeking to provoke another Korean War.

All I can say is, I'd be scared to get into a war at this period in time. There's no telling what kinds of weapons either side has :P The A-bombs shocked the world. What'll the US (or Korea, but my money is going towards our neighbours to the South) bring out this time?

If North Korea is actually stupid enought to fire a missile at the united states, my bets are it would be intercepted before it even landed. And then the us would launch 5000 back and laugh.

I've been seeing a lot of posts circulating around about this, it's probably just another one of Kim Jong's many empty threats. But if it is legit this time, many people will die. ASSUMING the Russians don't intercept their missiles via satellite signals! :DLethalhazard

Honestly, I actually laughed when I heard this, they are so desperate to divert attention towards them they actually made this empty threat, the farthest they would likely be able to get a nuke is MAYBE Japan, but almost the instant they launch a nuke they will be completely, mercilessly destroyed by a combined force of a lot of nations, even if they were able to get nukes to America they only have enough to maybe take out the LA area, which isn't all bad. And if they do end up bombing Hawaii they will likely kill more Japanese people than Americans.
