After paying rent and food and bills I have $780 a month for myself. I really hate saving money since it's always there again next month so I like to spend it all. Was wondering how I should spend it. Was thinking of a few options:

1) new pc tower, get ps3 online, world of warcraft account, and 5-6 PS3 games a month

2) new pc tower, get ps3 online, world of warcraft account, 13 blu ray movies, 3 games a month

3) get ps3 online, get xbox 360 and live account, 5-6 games a month

4) get ps3 online, 13 blu ray movies, 3 games a month

Problem I have with movies is that I usually watch them once or twice and then they collect dust for over a year. There are a few exceptions and I already own those movies. Depending on the type of game I'll either put a lot of time into it or just play it recreationally. Something like Warcraft I would devote time to but a game like NHL 09 I just play for the fun of it and don't concern myself whether I get very good at it.

I need a new pc tower regardless, this one doesn't even have enough memory to run WoW on it's minimum settings. I don't use the internet much except for gaming, facebook, and looking up game walkthroughs and codes. I'm going to get a wireless router to get my ps3 online regardless.

Was thinking of the possibility of getting a 360 just so I could play my friend who lives 8 hours away games. 360 also has classic arcade which I would love.

Yes, and I like it that way. I still get girls too. I'm seeing one on the side right now. Living at home = me being semi-rich as opposed to poor

Honestly, if you buy this stuff is it seriously going to make your life better? Save it for the future if only a portion. Take me for example, I make sure I always have a certain amount of money in the bank and due to this savings, I simply do not have to worry about money. I'm not going to have to worry about where I will get the money if I get a speeding ticket or if I won't be employed for any length of time. To me, that's more important than 5-6 ps3 games I won't ever play after 2 weeks.

It's online for free but I need a router because I can't pick up a strong enough signal when I scan for one.

my advice to is is actually to save money because although it might be cool living with your parents now it won't be in a few years time when your older.

Do you have a car? surely you'd like a car. if you have a car - you know they don't last forever and you'll need money for a new one one day.

buying dvds - yes a waste of money.

When I'm older? I'm 27 in 3 months.

I don't have a car and don't want one. I live downtown. With no parking around anyway I take public transportation or just walk.

I think you should get a new PC tower/whatever you need, World of Warcraft and all the X pacs, 6 months of WoW, and maybe a game or two for PS3 or w/e you have. Then gradually get a 360 ps3 etc and save the rest. Or buy all that crap as soon as you can, than save the rest.

Save it. If you're almost twenty seven and you're still living at home and are planning on spending the rest of your money on video games then you should probably change something.

If you want to know what games/systems to spend your $$$ on, it belongs in System Wars.
