Star Trek, District 9, Drag Me to Hell - awesome, damn good, exactly what I wanted

Wolverine, Terminator, Transformers - disappointing, bad, unmitigated train wreck.

1- District 9--This year's The Dark Knight. So amazing.

2- Up--Possibly the most surprising film so far. I mean, I knew it was going to be good, but not a freaking masterpiece like we got.

3- Star Trek--Some slow parts, but it was still edge-of-your-seat amazing.

I don't have a top 5. It's just a top 1. District 9. Mainly because the other movies I saw were garbage. Those would be Funny People, Transformers and GI Joe.. Still I don't think anything this year could top District 9.

District 9 was easily the best movie of the year.
