NYC, LA is considerably worse than what it is portrayed in the movies.

What's wrong with L.A.? Is it the gangs?

Smog, crime, high cost of living, traffic, over crowded, the city is old and quickly falling apart, etc. Just a general poor quality of life. SoCal may be the most overrated area on earth. People that aren't from here don't get it.[QUOTE="BluRayHiDef"]

I have never liked it here,it is shown as some diverse liberal paradise....It is a divided economic hole that might be one of the worst places to live in America. I honestly hate it here.[QUOTE="BluRayHiDef"]

If you aren't in the six figure salary range, you aren't living comfortably in SF. That place is unthinkably expensive. Just to find a decent parking garage to keep your car (since SF is mostly urban) you can be looking at $1000/month just on the parking.[QUOTE="BluRayHiDef"]

Okay, we get it, you like the hodgetwins.Don't you mean which city would you rather die in? Because they are both filled with gang members!goryvideogames
New York is more elegant, the people are nicer on average, and the weather is better. Also you can walk anywhere (thus getting some form of physical activity leading it to have the hottest babes of all the land).
vistited both and they are both crowded as hell
i choose la just cause when sh!t hits the fan in movies it's always new york
thankfully i am able to say i've been to both.
and if you mean living one of the main borough's of NYC, and not the ghetto's. I would love to live in NYC.
If i could afford it and live comfortably. NYC is the one major metropolitian city aside from Chicago. Where i felt like i was at the literal pulse of the United States and to an extent the Western world at large.
I was only in Manhattan for a few days, but i really enjoyed the short time i was there. Would definently like to visit her again.
LA reminded me a lot like Houston, where i lived for about 3 years of my life. It's just a giant sprawling metropolis with an endless sea of suburbia around it. not really my thing.
My favorite American city is still San Antonio, and i do also love the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
but yeah between those two I'm gonna go New York New York

Weather is not better in NYC.......Out of those NYC. I would prefer Vancouver or Toronto though, or possibly even Montreal or Quebec City.
Pretty much this. As someone else in this topic said, LA is just an endless sea of suburbia. NYC has real landmarks (Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge etc). Personally I'm not a fan of big cities, but LA doesn't even come close to NYC. Also, NYC has way more history than LA does. The American Revolution had battles that were fought in NYC.LA
