SMH, this is why I hate hood rats. All that just to avoid paying the $2.25 fare. Like what, the welfare money wasn't enough or did they spend it all on expensive clothes and haircuts? I'm glad the cops got a chance to beat these b****es' asses though.

Sorry if this has already been posted here, I just saw this in the news and it pissed me off cause I've seen this sort of stuff go on in my neighborhood my whole life(hell I even got caught doing it a couple of times. :P).

Hood rats LOL. Haven't heard that term in a while. Those cops did a pretty good job at remaining calm. Those girls are gonna regret that when they find out what crimes they'll be charged with when they get tot he slammer.

i f***ing hate hood rats. they're loud, obnoxious, ugly, and think the rules don't apply to them. out of all the groups of people in the world, they are the ones i hate the most. they don't do anything for society except cause problems, like exactly what is shown in the video. i bet none of them have jobs, and at least one of them has a kid.

Really? There were people assaulting officers.....I'd think that'd scare off people and stop the situation quickly. Unless you mean like the general public after the event happened. Lethalhazard

I mean the general public. Hell, it's become so politicized our union has actually told us not to use them unless we absolutely have to.

Wow, when a bunch of ppl in regular clothes ran up I thought the cops were being mobbed but turns out those were all plain clothed officers.

Where I live the train network (if you can even call it that, its a pathetic single line) doesn't even have a gate or ticket system, you are free to take the train without paying if you like, there are no barriers to stop you. Of course there is a by-law prohibiting you for riding for free but there is barely an enforcement; once in a while you might get checked for a valid fare coming out of or going into a station but thats few and far between. Really the way they "force" ppl to pay in my city is a culture of fear of being ticketed.

All one has to do is look back at the thread about the fare jumper that pulled a gun on transit cops in San Fransisco and got shot. The arguments on this forum were out there. And people would jump to conclusions if it had happened in NYC as it did in SF. :roll:

All one has to do is look back at the thread about the fare jumper that pulled a gun on transit cops in San Fransisco and got shot. The arguments on this forum were out there. And people would jump to conclusions if it had happened in NYC as it did in SF. :roll:

It was the Police kill 19 year old for not paying his bus fare thread back in July. People on this forum got all up in arms about the cops killing someone who shot at them over the price of a bus fare.

I actually live in New York and ride the subway once in awhile, it never ceases to amaze me on the lack of class you see sometimes. This is just one of many many examples. Lol :P
