I heard about this a few months ago and I'm still firmly entrenched in the "wait and see" mode. I'm a huge old time Speed Racer fan but let's face it, it wasn't exactly a quality cartoon so I would be pleasantly suprised if it turned out halfway decent.

I know him. It was an old anime cartoon that used to air on Cartoon Network. There was a monkey, a girl and the dad who'd cheer Speed Racer, a black-haired guy with a cool car like James Bond, on.
