The reason people are making it a big deal is because 100 years ago, someone even like him WOULDN'T be elected president, let alone run a campaigne. He's part black, and has dark skin, that's what matters.

The actual biological difference between a black person and a white person is rather shallow. Many perceived differences are just societal and can be changed easily by upbringing.
