I think its a new trend. Hollywood gets one free shot at the president and theyseem to make a bad movie about them. I think Denzel would be the best choice.

Well, you can look at it another way if you want to. You say that Obama hasn't actually "done" anything? Well, one thing Obama and every other president has done is become freasking President of the United States of America. Meanwhile we have movies about people falling in love, or escaping from prison, but somehow becoming the damn PRESIDENT doesn't count as actually having done something?

I call shenanigans.

Don't get me wrong, not every president should have a movie. But that's only because movies are a BUSINESS, and no one wants to watch a movie about freaking William Henry Harrison. However, I'd wager that a LOT more people would be willing to watch a movie about Obama. Which means some studio is much more likely to be able to put out a cheap Obama movie and make a tidy profit.

I think being the first AFRICAN AMERICAN president is huge. Most people thought it wouldnt happen for many more years. Anyways itd have to be Will Smith. He has the ears.
