Odd Music you Listen to

Have any of you guys ever listened to a specific genre or band of music that you like, but you pretend not to in front of everyone else?

Ive been that way lately with.... this will sound kinda odd considering im a hard rock fan...... Pat Benetar:D

Yeah i just tell people i like metal right away.

Lately i've beensaying "Death Metal" just to see the reaction i get.

I really like Jam bands. Widespread Panic rocks. Better live than recorded, but some of the best times of my life were at their shows.

I like Rammstein, Saliva and a few other bands that I'd be inclined not to admit to many people.

It isn't my favorite genre, that will always be metal, I just greatly enjoy it.

No i don't mind if people know what i listen to. Although some people make fun of me for liking Lady GaGa and Katy Perry

I often listen to Gunther, Aqua and The Pipettes, but I'm not ashamed of them and openly listen to them. people think I'm weird for it, though.

I love Norah Jones, although it does'nt bother me.

haha, I know what you mean. What kind of jazz do you like. you should definitely listen to Avishai Cohen. He's such an incredible Jazz songwriter.

I can't say I am embarresed about any music I listen to. The only ones that kinda qualify would be me enjoying stuff like You Belong With Me and Already Gone.

I do have cases where I won't blast a song because the lyrics might put people off, such as Fever for the Flava.

You shouldn't feel ashamed of liking Pat Benetar, she absolutely rocks, blast that **** nice and loud!

I have a think for chicks in rock too- Heart, Pat B, Joan Jett. They all own.

I actually had some hot neighbors at the apartment complex I used to live at.

But now that I am back with the parents there really isn't anyone hot here in the neighborhood at least as far as I know.

Everybody thinks my main band, Dream Theater, is way too odd for anybody's liking. It isn't the casual listen to music, it feels as though you are going to a movie theater in your ears. It's amazing.

Some would say Daler Mehndi is odd. Especially since I am not Hindu.
