A nice, small cottage in a forest village in England or a Skyscrapper in New York?

cottage in england, i always wanted to one day retire to a simple life in a small town,
bahahah similiar to the sorta town like in Hot Fuzz
Anywhere where there's not sexist men is fine with me. PrincesswookieI'm sure you'll find sexist men everywhere on the planet. Ignorance is global. Anyways, I'm all about the crazy nightlife and never sleeping. NY all the way. I'd be a pretty dull boy in a cottage.
i've seen neither of those but i'd love experiencing the life in newyork because it's so different than the place i'm currenty live in.
English cottage. Because when the zombie uprising comes you'll be just another pigeon awaiting consumption by the zombies in a skyscraper. Besides you can't own a gun in NY, then again you can't own a gun in the UK either, but it'll be in the country know one will ever know.;)
Sky scraper in New York, I would enjoy the view and the lights at night, not that I would go outside much though.
For me personally the only attractionof living in NY would the night life. Now that i'm in my thirties and have a family, night lifedoesn't register very highly anymore. Add to this the fact that England isa small country and you can live in the heart of the countryside and still be within 30 minutes train ride of a major city. So you could have all the perks of living in the English country side and still get the city night life. I'm sorry but, drinking Mojito's in some wanky New York bar isn't a scratch on relaxing in a proper English pub in front of a open fire, drinking real English ale with ya mates. But then I am getting old.
