I cut my hair a few hours ago (I had an Afro before) and after I cut it, I brought the bunches of hair to my nose, and they smelt like sweet hair grease (I think most black guys hair smell like this). But I NEVER put anything in my hair I'll let water run through it, but that's about it. How 'bout you guys?
Your scalp puts natural oils onto your hair. Your post makes it sound like you don't use shampoo, and if that's the case, water won't wash that oil out.
I can't smell my own hair since I had it cut short recently. But early today I did shampoo with a peaches sceneted product... so I will assume peaches.
I don't know, I buzzed it all off a few days ago. Now I have a sub-short-spike. I didn't bother smelling it. I went from a John Travolta slick to virtually no hair in like 15 minutes. I had enough hair to make a wig. I should have saved it and made a shaggywig of it. That way I could wear around town.
