Honestly, it was the funniest movie i've seen in a long time. The first half-hour in particular is literally laughter every couple of seconds, non-stop. If only the show had this much effort and creativity put into it.

Going to see it tomorrow night with some friends after cross country practice. Never actually watched a full episode of the Simpsons, but the trailer made me laugh harder than some movies. After the great reviews, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a great time watching it.

The Simpsons has been renewed until the minimum of 2009-2010. I don't remember when in that timeline.

Just got back from seeing it.

If you are a fan of the show, go see it as soon as possible. This is coming from a Simpsons of over 10 years.

Just saw it yesterday it's the first time ever i see something of Simpson never been into it and i must say it's the funniest movie i saw this year togetherwith Borat (yeah it was in 2006 but i am Jew so i count my years from Sept. :P). But really funny moviei think i underestimated the Simpsons...i like it

I saw it yesterday (I work in a movie theatre). I have to say, it was pretty mediocre. They even showed Bart's genitals in one scene, which I didnt find funny but rather disgusting...

Well, i wouldn't say jesus for me but i also grew up with them and despite many (well, mostly from the internet) saying it;s gone downhill, i still enjoy the new seasons and beyond :D

I just bought the tickets for tonight... I hope it's going to be good, because I have high expectations for this movie considering how many times the script has been rewritten. :)
