Wow. It is absolutely amazing what someone can do to a movie using only a lighter, a phone, and a man in a box. And the last 5 minutes of the movie was absolute magic. I won't spoil what happened, but that was just movie magic at it's finest.

Did anyone else see this movie? What did you think?

Lower budget than Phone Booth. Phone Booth had other things going on. This movie was just a man in a box with a cell phone and a lighter. Any contact with the outside world was through the cell phone. The camera didn't once leave the box.

Low budget? This movie cost around 3 mil, and Saw only cost 1 mil. How can a man, a box, a lighter and a cell phone cost as much as 3 mil? :P

Lucky, I've been wanting to see this movie for awhile, but it's not in my theatres.

As I was scrolling down I accidentally highlighted the spoiler box, you kinda ruined it for me man...

It's a shame, I was interested in the film.

I thought the movie was also surprisingly good considering where everything is taking place. I was actually surprised that the entire movie
consisted of no single scene besides Ryan Reynolds in a box underground. I thought there would at least be a scene of him being saved (which there sort of was, but you don't see anything besides a bright light). It was a pretty sad movie and a entertaining watch. I knew this wasn't a big budget film, but at the same time, I wasn't expecting it to consist of only one actor (voices I'm not counting), a lighter, a box, a phone, and a bunch of dirt.
Aw man, did you have to post that? It contributes nothing to the discussion, and I have spoiler tag OCD that makes me unable to resist clicking...

I understand, but Saw did the same and only cost them 1 mil. So I guess the director took most of the money.

I saw it recently too. Damn good film, easily one of the best of 2010. I thought Ryan Reynolds did a great job with his character.

i was interested in seeing the movie, but I too have the problem of having to click spoiler links out of compulsion. Ruined it for me.
