Can someone please give me a few pointers on how to put your fingers on the strings in position faster? I've been practicing for a month from lessons and I still can't nail tablature. :(:( I've tried so many songs and they are all so hard! I don't understand how some can move that quickly, it takes like 5 secons to put my self in place. :( If someone can point out some things for me i would we very grateful, thanks!

1. Practice with slower songs to get used to it 2. Make sure you memorize the chords first(but in your case tabs) 3. Just be sure to practice
Dude just practice scales and chord shapes again and again and again till they are imprented in your brain.....play them very slowly and keep doing it till you can nail them perfectly each time then move up to a faster tempo also use a metronome. The same goes for songs pick a passage that you like and practice it very slowly over and over till you have memorized it them do it again a little faster.. I used to teach guitar so if you have any questions just ask.Guitarking411Wow, thank you so much!!!!!! :D:D

Just keep at it dude. Thats the main thing with guitar. It takes a lot of time and effort to get good, but if you put the time and effort into it, you will get good! I'm pretty decent at guitar now. I can play almost any metal song/solo you put in front of me. Besides most stuff by Dragonforce & Necrophagist. I've been playing for 5 years. It takes a while to be able to get decent. But if you work hard at it, you will succeed. And theres only one thing that will make you improve at guitar. Practise. Just learn some of your favorite songs that aren't too difficult, and keep at them and after a while you will get used to it :D-DarkestHour-Wow, okay, I guess I'll do that too, thanks! :D:D

Buy guitar hero, no joke.zeldafan00013That would be more suitable for the rhythm part of playing guitar, not the actual playing
