I just turned 19, and for my birthday my grandpa wants to take me clothe shopping at his 'favourite' clothing store. I dress metal.
Help me.

Sounds like he just wants to get you to dress nice. Take the opporotunity to get some dress clothes for later when you either apply at jobs or need to dress up in general =PI just turned 19, and for my birthday my grandpa wants to take me clothe shopping at his 'favourite' clothing store. tell him you are a close minded person who doesn't even want to look at other ways of dressing or lifestyle. Tell him you're happy with the way you look. Tell him it doesn't matter that the vast majority of stores won't hire someone who comes to an interview dressed in 'metal'. Tell him you're happy living the bumstyle life and will be glad when the hand of death coems and takes you away from this hellhole.
Either that or you could just go with him and see what they have.

I'm not close minded, i am just comfortable with who I am. I already have a job so that really is not an issue. As for the bum lifestyle i don't really know where that came from.
And i actually like life belive it or not.
I'm planning a short film at the moment (aspiring filmmaker) and one of the scenes is at a golf course so I might get some golf style clothes for it:P
Thanks for the responses.

Make sure you get your hands on the reciept and return them when you get a chance. Keep the cash.

well this wrapped up quite nicely... but seriously if you want a high paying job, your out of school, you don't have to dress cool anymore. and besides that if your content with life there's no reason at all to wear skulls spikes and chains around. Please Log In to post.
