I just saw this funny video about "Lost questions" and it was pretty funny: http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1936291 But really, it wasn't so much that no answers were given, so much as it seemed incredibly corny and the ENTIRE show from season 1 and on was useless. Really, why bother with Season 2, 3, 4, etc at all? Might as well just give I mean, I saw another video making fun of how Lost would end, and there are so much of these videos that you laugh at, but when the end finally approached I can't believe those fan made videos were more entertaining than any crap the writers could come up with, and the "actors" could act out.
The message that ending had? Totally ignoring everything other seasons have built up? Seeing people go so out of character, just to fit a happy feel-good ending (though it wasn't feel good at all) and pairing everybody up with everyone else? I mean, you wouldn't think the same actors were portraying the characters you were so entranced by when you'd be watching Lost many seasons ago. Quite frankly, it looks as if the writers bit off more than they can chew, and it shows.
I do agree that there were times where the characters did stuff that seemed out of place and only for plot's sake. Wish there were less of that. Overall I liked the ending though.
I just didn't get why they devoted so much in Season 6 to that alternate timeline. It seems like the writers were trolling us pretty hard. Pretty damn hard.
I loved the finale... :| I can certainly see why some people were upset, and the producers said that would happen. The fact remains this was their show and that's how they wanted to end it. I loved it, and I was happy with the answers given. I plan to go Easter Egg hunting through the series soon, once they release the collecter's box set.
yea hated the finale, usually season finales are amazing, ironically the series finally was mediocre. I'm not obsessed with all the answers, but i just found the alternate reality to be really disappointing and just used to give the series a "happy ending"
The finale was masterfully made I will give it that. If it actually answered questions it would have been the best episode of Television ever probably. But it didnt answer any questions and the last 10 minutes of the episode made the whole show seem completely and totally pointless.
Yeah, I wasn't fond of the finale either... :? Especially since the last season was centered more on the mystery than the characters, and then they ended it on characters. And even the "character ending" we got, I wasn't really thrilled with.

the end wasnt about the "answers" it was about the characters for the last time, so u wanted to the episode be like "Why this".."because of that"............"Who did this"..."He did". no it was for the characters and all the questions that needed to be answered was answered. Lost fan cares more about the characters and if they messed it up how in the hell did it get good reviews?????????????
I was upset because I felt like I could have removed about 50-75% of lost and the ending would have been the same. The majority of lost was just there as filler.
