Why should the former vice president be charged? Nobody was seriously injured and it was an accident. Hell I did nearly the same thing while out hunting with one of my friends and I never got into trouble because he wasn't hurt. Are you saying I should be charged to?

btw for those who are gonna insist it. Obama's healthcare plan is not gonna totally run the healthcare system. you do have an option to opt out. in face most developed nations and even some developing nations (like Saudi, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and the other Gulf States) have either a universal or very near universal healthcare system.
but i'm not gonna go into a big huge debate about it here. this is like one huge train wreck waiting to happen (actually it is happening so its sort of humorous).
. - And torture was legalized? growingabeard
The Guantanamo is not based in the USA boarder lines. Therefore it wasn't necessary to legalize it. The Torture still is against the human rights but Bush was never much of humanist. More like a simple cowboy from the South.

as long as your in "american custody", it shouldn't matter where u are, the constitution should remain the same. guantanamo is cheating, like slapping the constituion in the face[QUOTE="growingabeard"][QUOTE="Sword-Demon"] ....yes.. it would be.. :?Sword-Demonno, cause the sentence wouldn't exist ok, if that's all you have to offer, then i think im done with this conversation
Cheney was done with his conversation too. :P He let his gun do the talking!

Plus, most people are nolonoger happy with Obama.

You forgot Hurricane Katrina Katrina was an epic failure due to the local govenor and mayor. Fema did their part. Who the heck stays in the path when their told to leave.[QUOTE="growingabeard"]- 9/11 was pulled off by 19 hijackers, 17 of them from Saudi Arabia, and "none" associated with Saddam. - Iraq War cost $3 Trillion, more than Obama will ever spend. - And torture was legalized? - And Cheney shot his friend with a shotgun in the face, but never was charged? you guys should be glad Obama is in office, u ungrateful pigstester962

Bush was warned 4 days prior that they could break, but he didn't want to evacuate It's not the Presidents place to order local evacuations, it's the local governments place to order evacutations and deploy their National Guard. They were warned but decided to stay anyways.

There was also over a trillion dollars wasted on useless tax cuts, Medicare Part D, warrantless wiretapping, a botched response to Katrina, the CIA leaking scandal - lots of forgettable moments occured under the Bush administation, and because of the debt he put us in it makes it that much harder politically, although (hopefully) not impossible, to pass things like health care reform that are absolutely needed.-Sun_Tzu-

Yes the governor and mayor deserve blame, but the mere fact that the governor and mayor deserve blame does not absolve the federal government. It was a government **** up at every level - local, state, and federal, and more importantly, when the local and state government drops the ball, the federal government shouldn't just sit back and let people die as a result. Where does the buck stop?
