I feel embarrassed for people who like it... It's not even music just a bunch of terrible sounding farting robots or something with rap thrown on top?!? What has this world come to -_-

People have diiferent tastes in music and when you have a lovely huge sound system blaring dubstep to me it's awesome.
Some people love rock, others hate it.
Some people love hip-hop, others hate it.
Some people love dubstep, others hate it.
It's not like your forced to listen to it.
The Prodigy has some dubstep sounds.
Deadmau5 just made a dubstep song too.
Ministry of Sound have some awesome dubstep albums.
Don't like? Fine with me :P
The drop brooooo
"ttt tt tt tt t(progressively higher highpitched sound)ttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt(everyone in the club starts freaking out) BWAU- BRAU- BWAU- BRRUU- BWAUU( low emphatic bass)
COOL
edit: I think you have to be wacked out on club drugs to "get it"
Explain further as to why it's a insult :lol:Dubstep is an insult to real musicians out there who actually have talent... IMO I guess...but I guess there are a lot of bands and artists you could say the same for so I'll stop being such a hater :P
v61k
because sometimes when it comes on in the right place and at the right time, girls will grind up on your business
There's nothing better than raging out to dubstep. -Sun_Tzu-Yes there is, raging out to some death metal :P Nothing like moshing your guts out :D But seriously, as much as I dislike electronica, I understand that some people just like it. I like death metal, it's not like most people understand me either :P
This is the first time I have ever heard the word "dubstep". What the heck is it?chathuranga

I have no concrete evidence to back this up, but I'd say a large portion of dubstep 'fans' professing their love for the genre are simply doing so to get a rise out of folks, or trolling, if you will.
It's like Avenged Sevenfold: it wasn't created for people to hear, it was created to troll forums on the internet.

Dubstep F***ing rocks. It is all about the agressive rythmic chaos of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EvFq6E1VR8
I lasted for about 1min 30sec before turning it off. I have no idea how anyone finds that appealing IMO.Dubstep F***ing rocks. It is all about the agressive rythmic chaos of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EvFq6E1VR8

I have never seen an appeal to it and always wondered why people like it. I've tried a lot many times to get into it but it never works.
If you do not like dubstep, listent to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNo_r3DbQ5Yand you will.
Nope. Still don't like. Does have an interesting intro though, I'll give it that.If you do not like dubstep, listent to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNo_r3DbQ5Yand you will.

a bunch of terrible sounding farting robots or somethingv61k
That's exactly the way I descried it to my friend.
I have no idea what people see in it. It's a pretty boring genre, to be honest.
There are some dubstep songs that aren't that bad and aren't all just wob wob wob.

Then some dubstep is just to listen to for giggles if you have a crazy sub

And not to mention seeing dubstep live is so sick, i managed to catch Skrillex by accident when seeing Deadmau5 and Calvin Harris. The bass and atmosphere of it all is quite enthralling.
Most dubstep dongs are just crap.
One i do like is UKF Dubstep Mix August but yeah even that one gets pretty repetetive, though not as much as other dubstep songs.
I can't stand straight hard dubstep, but I liked Raise Your Weapon by Deadmau5.

meh. I noticed people started to like it in my school. Mostly the European kids. I rather stick to my good old rock n roll. I like music that requires instruments.
Haven't heard much of it, but I spend a large portion of my free time looking up remixes to songs I like on YouTube, and I've seen some good dubstep ones. Like this one.
