what was going on that the cat had an opportunity to choke on vomit?NathanHawkins
He was ill, but nothing major. Just flu and cough. The vet said he had an infection, so he sorted me out with some Antibiotics. He took it, few hours later, he died on his own vomit

Yeah cats can have milk but not too much, if they have too much then many will get diarrhea. If it is given at all it should be little and infrequent. However, if cats are properly nourished then they do not need milk.
Cats and Dogs are disposible animals,if one dies, go buy a new one.

I lost my dog on Monday. He was 14 years old and just laid down and died :(uglyduck-uk
Thats the way to go, peacefully. My dog who was like the same age, give or take a year died one night in his sleep. Family was over, he was having a good time, they brought their dog in, he played and enjoyed everything. Next morning after everyone woke up and had breakfast, I went downstairs to get something. My dog was laying on the ground, tongue out not breathing. At least he died in his sleep around friends and family, I'd like to go that way.
And to the OP, that sucks your cat died too, and from that cause of all things.
