OMG Nickelodeon now in canada startin nov 2

Nickelodeonis a soon-to-be-launchedCanadianEnglish languagecategory 2digital cablespecialty channelbased on theU.S.cable networkNickelodeon. It is scheduled to launch on November 2, 2009,[1]and will be owned byCorus Entertainment, in partnership withMTV Networks International, a division ofViacom. It is not clear at this time whether Viacom will be a part-owner of the channel or simply a licensor.

Some of my favorite Nickelodeon shows were Canadian, like You Can't Do That On Television and Fifteen. Ah, I miss the good old days of Nick.

I'm actually a little excited about this. Do they play older cartoons, too, like Cow and Chicken or The Tick, or is it mostly newer stuff?

I don't really care since I'm an Adult now. But when I was a young kid I didn't mind that we didn't have our own Nickelodeonin Canada because all these Nick shows use to be on YTV anyways which worked out fine for every Canadian kid. But yeaha little too late Nickelodeon :P
