One Sound In The World You Can't Stand

What is that one sound that will drive you mad? The sound that sparks up all the irritation and anger in your head all at once. It kills you completely.

For me, it is that sound that is created if you rub styrofoam together. It is a horrible hell. The sound of my alarm clock is a close second.

You know, it's kind of strange,certain sounds will really get to me at different times. Metal against metal is really bad sometimes, and other times, not. Then there's my mother's nasally voice when she's complaining that is completely unbearable sometimes, and sometimes it's not that bad. I guess it just depends on my center of attention at the moment.

people clipping their nails. there's this guy that sits in the office next to mine that clips his nails at his desk EVERY day. it's a horrible sound, makes me put on the ipod.

The sound of laughter, especially a child's laugh. Just makes me go crazy.

Slurping when people are eating or drinking. That drives me insane.

I also hate loud shouting from my mom when i am trying to focus. i have ADHD and its hard enough to focus, so when she yells my brain feels like its about to explode.

Tearing open a cardboard box. It sends shivers down my spine.

The sound of crying babies, I'm only glad I don't have any.

Forks or knives screeching on a plate.

there are may but the worst is probably a mosquito/fly when you're sleeping, that bzzzzz sound is the worst

My TV makes this ringing sound sometimes. I can't stand it.

Crying but I dont mean just any sort of crying.... I mean that full on loud ass crying (like baby crying). It bugs me soooo much it literally stops me from whatever I am doing until I cant hear it anymore.

Someone picking at or clicking their nails. Especially long nails. Oh! And when someone sits there chipping their nasty nail polish all over the place. Ew

Little Kids Talking on Xbox Live, Kids Laughing, Kids Screaming/Crying, Fork/Knife Screeching on Plate, Parents Yelling, Chewing Noises, Slurping, there are more but, I don't feel like listing them all. :P

Yeah, ME Too. IT gets annoying after 5 Minutes.

Small dogs barking

The beeping noise that my microwave makes (I usually stand next to it and open the door at 0:01 just so I don't have to hear it)

Squeaky wheels on grocery carts

When I'm in class and somebody and constantly opening and closing a bottle of soda and every time they open it it makes that "sssst" noise. Pisses me off

really really heavily overpowered base. but it's only if it's in the car BEHIND me. for some reason it gives me a massive headache. but if it's the car in front of me, it's not so bad.

Tin Foil also makes an annoying noise.

I'm surprised no one has said people who chew with their mouth open.

The sounds that people make when they eat - the breathing, the squishing, the biting etc..

I'll add a second too - loud breathing and snoring.
