I've been thinking about doing this for about two or three weeks. It's not that I don't know how to pick girls up other ways its just that I work full time and go to school full time also. Whenever the weekends come around I really don't feel like leaving the apartment and searching for that. Its kind of nice to be home on the weekends when I'm always gone during the week. Has anyone else tried this and had any success? Any suggestions?

Yeah I thought about that too. It seems when the times comes you would be able to make time. Its just the chase that takes the longest. Thought maybe since I'm on the computer all day every day it could actually work.

Yeah that's usually how I do it. I'm in the IT field and there aren't any girls at work (I'm 21 and all the women are like 27+ at the office I admin) and school there aren't any girls either, its all guys.

I think that it could work, in some kind of level...never tried myself when I was a single, so how could I know. Some people just tend to lie in internet because they can :/

What's the problem? Even if someone has gone to prison, it doesn't mean that he/she's a bad person. I know couple persons that have and they are really sweet.
for me, online dating takes the fun out of it. What's the point in going online to find a girl. There's no getting up the courage to go talk to her, or asking her out. It's just some faceless, person you haven't met yet who you may or may not get along with. All the while having to pay for it.
i dunno if mine is called online dating but my gf was on one of my mates myspace and i added her and started talking to her on msn and then we got close quick and met up with each other in town and lived happily ever after.. well not living yet but its been 2 years now. we love each other ALOT :)
Well I guess you cant really knock it til you try it. You're sure to here some good stories, as well as an equal amount of bad stories. Plus you'll get the occasional 'dont do it' from those who wouldnt try it themselves. But the way I see it, putting an ad up on some dating site couldnt hurt. Who knows what could come of it.
It works for some people and it doesn't for others. Give it a shot. Like you said your busy and this way might be the only way you get a chance to meet girls.
