I am planing on taking my MBA degree. Initially, I registered as an online applicant, but after hearing from a few people that the online degree has less acceptance than a regular degree I started contemplating. My counselor told me that I can change my decision any time before my courses start.

What do you think guys? I can use some help with this one.

Lots of people get online degrees, but I question their effectiveness. I think you would get a better education in a classroom. I've never heard of a lower acceptance rate for online classes in the job market, but it wouldn't surprise me. I could never do online courses. I'd be too distracted on the computer.

Think about if you were hiring and had two applicants left: One who did the online degree and one who went to the University. Which would you hire? That and I think you'll have significantly more chance of completing the degree if you go to Uni and use the facilities presented to you rather than battling with yourself to get it done.

Do you mean online vs classroom from the same school...if so, probably no different

If you mean traditional school (University of Texas)vs online school (university of phoenix online)

STIGMA...this is your biggest problem

When you graduate and try to get better jobs, you will be dealing (mostly) with "old school" people that will most likely look down on an online degree.
