which is better
(not asking which one you use)

I don't think it looks much prettier than Firefox 2 . . .I have both, I prefer Firefox because Opera slows down my connection and eats up a ridiculous amount of RAM. Opera is prettier though.

It's that homepage...thing...of theirs that looks so pretty.
Firefox is better. Firefox has the best security, it's the fastest and it's got pretty themes. :)HyperMetaDragonActually they're pretty much the same when it comes to security (in terms of keeping you safe from malware and such). As far as addressing vulnerabilities is concerned, Opera's security record is better than Firefox's. However, if you're using a plugin (like Java or Flash) and that has a vulnerability that makes you susceptible to malware and viruses (as there has been in the past), the securtiy of either browser is irrelevant.
Opera hands down. It beats out every other browser in terms of properly rendering pages; has the cleanest, most unobtrusive interface - plus it's also skinable; built in Spell Check; 4 levels of Popup Blocker; save Sessions; identify as Explorer; page zoom; built in accessibility styles; widgets; they were the first to use tabs; browse mobile web pages; built in mail client. It is a little slower to start up, but pages render faster than Firefox - if you turn off the refresh delay. It also doesn't have a lot of support so while it can do anything that Firefox or Safari can do, some crappy sites will turn you away saying you need to upgrade to Explorer or Firefox. The ONLY thing where Firefox wins is it's open source and plug-ins which gives it much more capabilities than it ships with.Smoov_B\
Oh yeah, Hands Down...Total agreement here!
