Bourne Legacy is releasing this weekend ( 6 and 10 Aug respectively).Starring Jeremey Renner as protagonist (The Hurt Locker) and Edward Norton as antagonist ( American History X ). Even tho the film is loosely based on Robert Ludlum's Bourne Franchise, i'm interested. Always enjoyed Bourne series for realistic action.

Question.

Do you think Bourne Legacy'll do good without Matt Damon as Jason Bourne?

Are you going to watch Bourne Legacy?

i'm watching it definately, Edward Norton ( most underated actor in Hollywood) as primary antagonist gonna rock ... imo.

I'm looking forward to it. I don't know if I'll watch it in theatre though since I've seen more movies this year alone than the last 3 put together.

No. I enjoyed each of the three Bourne films - even thought each one was better than the last - but I don't have any interest in seeing any more of them.

Not at all. I've tried watching the first Bourne film on a couple separate occasions and it just doesn't do it for me. Jeremy Renner definitely doesn't help my interest level any either. Surprised they managed to fill the role with an actor I actually like less than Damon.

Yes, even if the reviews stay so poor. I love the 'Bourne' trilogy, Gilroy is a great writer and pretty good director, Renner is pretty awesome, and Weisz is a total babe.

Critics reviews point to no. And since I'm not in love with Bourne I will take their advice and avoid seeing it in theatres.

definately gonna see it. loved the original trilogy. good to see joan allen will be back in this one also. plus jeremy renner is awesome.

Answer 1 : Without Matt as Jason, it will take for me to get immerse in the movie and that too if the movie goes well.

Answer 2 : I truly loved all the 3 parts of the series. Loved the smart tactics and close chases. So it's quite obvious i'm going to watch it.

Yeah but I have low hopes for it especially after reviews said it's light on action and has an overly complicated plot.
