OT ban glitch party

I kinda like this new name. If you didn't get banned for reals, could you make another account with a cooler name?

Yeah you can have atls on GS you just can't ban-dodge, and this doesn't count because it's a glitch.

Actually they are not. They were discouraged under the old CoC and they are actively against the rules in the new CoC. They can be allowed in certain circumstances such as name changes, but we want everyone to log in and post with only one account and in those circumstances we disable the old account.

I thought it was a little strange I didn't get any notification. But it worked itself out.

Should probably have the account I made to ask why I was "banned" deleted now.

The latest CoC change wasn't a big re-write, just more adding some clarity to stuff that was mostly already against the rules. Yeah, your sig shouldn't be a problem. The "banned words" list wasn't intended as a literal list of words that will result in a ban regardless of context so profanity is still "OK" provided people still manage to be decent towards each other and don't overdo it. The only individual words that will get you modded regardless of context are generally racially motivated slurs and the like.

In this instance I couldn't find it but that's what staff told me. Things to look out for are brand new accounts that are posting links to something, especially if that something has absolutely nothing to do with anything that Gamespot reports on such as muscle or dietary supplements, arranged marriage matchmakers in India, posts in other languages such as Korean (Kim Jong-un must love us), or other shadiness.

Never knew a moderator could get nuke like that, that's new to me! Also I got nuke as well almost 2 years ago and got reinstated by a mod who came to the rescue and this is a known banned glitch that has effected other users for a while now.
