OT forum activity- Halloween is coming!

I'm considering to have some kind of little activity for you all to partiicpate in for Halloween (or what some call Harvest day). Vote for the type of contest you will likely participate in.

Here are some descriptions about the categories mentioned in the voting poll.

- Web graphics (your created images/screenshots/pictures,wallpaper,etc)
- fine arts (all related to something you create in real life; metal work, paintings, or even things like carving a pumpkin to baking and decorating a cake)
- writing (song lyrics, articles, guides, or other content)
- established content (searching for images or content around the site or another site for clues much like the box hunt or scavenger hunt related activities)
- other. Describe it in the OT post!

Former OT contest suggestions are still being considered.

Yay contest time!
All and a single winner for each category so that everyone takes part in this. There might be users who are great at writing and others who are great at making graphics, videos and such and the more the merrier. I'm in for fun.

GS owes us for our unwavering addiction, I mean support, all these years to make it the number one gaming website. They should foot the bill for non-North Americans! :x

I went as Obama once for Halloween, it was awesome.

I vote writing as that is the only skill I have other than video games that is listed in that list.

Well only if she is in full zombie outfit mode. :) I already have a loving girlfriend though but would be funny to see pics from a "Zombie" date

Established Content one. Love image hunts.

Anything but web graphics, that's always something I have to miss out on, as well as others. No reason to screw people over.

Scavenger for me. Writing or Fine Art also probably good.

I'll be drowning in schoolwork by the time this comes around :cry:..

Something I dont have to create cause I suck at everything except finding other people's stuff - and even that I can mess up x)

Well I suggested this in the other thread so I'm going to be undoubtedly biased towards it. : D

Plus you can get the whole "Halloween theme" thing going around the site while we are at it :B

I had a blast writing lyrics for the Valentines Day event, but I'd like to see something other than a writing event for Halloween so that there's variety. I'd like to see a scavenger hunt. :)

I would also like to see some sort of writing activity.

I'm all for a scavenger hunt kind of thing. I am not really skilled in the graphic arts, and if we had to write a scary story I would probably just try to steal one from somehwere....

I would like to see something different, but for now scavenger hunt!

I think I have a neat idea that will include both the web graphics and established content categories (the most popular votes).

I have an excercise everyone should participate in during the meantime. How many of you know how to conceal spoilers? Go ahead and use this thread to make sure you know how to conceal them as this will likely be needed for the contest (much like the box hunt GGD contest works but it wont be about games).
