For me, it doesn't matter what I'm doing, if I'm playing Tennis, if I'm playing a video game against somebody or just playing a game of checkers, I am really competitive, I'll get angry if somebodys beating me, how competitive are you OT.

If I'm doing something for fun, then it doesn't matter. But when it comes to events that have some kind of reward for winning I get really, really competitive.
I'm not near as competitive as I used to be, but if I can I will most definitely try and win. I don't get all angry or worked up about it though.
The problem with me is, I try to be good at everything so I am competive at everything.Very. But only in certain situations. If it is something that I'm doing for fun, and don't really care how good I am at it, then I don't get competitive. But if it's something I'm trying to be good at, then I am very competitive.

If I'm playing tennis, I'm extremely competitive, but with anything else, I could give a rat's patoot if I lose.
I used to be competitive, but I'm not feeling it these days... especially when it comes to games or sports, I just try to make sure I'm having fun.
[QUOTE="BMD004"]The problem with me is, I try to be good at everything so I am competive at everything. Well, yeah, I guess I'm kind of like that. But I don't get really "fired up competitive" unless it's something I have a passion for. When I think of competitive, I'm thinking foaming at the mouth like a rabid animal and want to destroy you. If it's a game of kickball, I want to win, but don't get bent out of shape if I don't. But if it's basketball, baseball, football, jiu jitsu or kickboxing, then I get fired up and very competitive.Very. But only in certain situations. It seems like every post of yours you mention Tennis, how often do you play? Well it's better than me always talkin about nudity isn't it? :P But I usually play at least 4 days a week. Tomorrow night we are having a huge tennis and BBQ get together, and I can't wait to smoke whoever's in my path.[QUOTE="peaceful_anger"]

I don't play that many sports competitivly, so the few that I do play I take serious, but I can see playing a friendly game of kickball wouldn't bother me if I lost.It seems like every post of yours you mention Tennis, how often do you play? But then you beat me in straight sets.
Because I'm pretty bad at tennis.

I didn't know Martina Hingis was ferocious.I'm not competitive at all. I couldn't care less if someone else beats me at something, so as long as I tried my best.
I've been known to hold a three day grudge over a game of Monopoly, but that's about it.jimmyjammer69
Are u sure for that?
In general, I'm not that bad. I can enter tournaments and remain pretty lax about it. But if I personally know who I'm going up against (in anything), I can become a horribly stubborn and competitive monster.SeraphimGoddessJust curious, what kind of tournaments are you talking about?

Sports tournaments a while back, Magic: The Gathering and various video game related tournaments nowadays.
Not a competitive bone in my body; it's a mindset that helps to cushion of the blow of my inevitable defeat in life's many trials. That said I don't often find myself in a situation where I have to pit my skills against another, so who knows? Perhaps there's a Tour de France winner struggling to get out after all.
