Seriously when I look around myself I notice how freaking smart and educated most of you guys are. You know stuff besides celebrities and cars and what not. I think we often forget that.

I think we all deserve a thank you from each other for being here for us.

Everytime I'm reading a debate thread in OT all I can imagine is a man in a dimly lit bedroom looking intensely into his monitor while rapidly tabbing through logical fallacy wiki pages and googling religious texts.

Some of us are really smart yes. But we' re a rare kind...

Mostly it's filled with people that can use Google and have the ability to post links as essence of proof.

Well, I wouldnt be surprised. I suspect that people that are affluent enough to own a computer and high speed internet may be more intelligent than the general population.

there are some smart users, yes...but FULL of em? no way. a lot of users here are in their mid to late teens and don't yet have a grasp on certain concepts and such.
