I wanna see something scary, only thing that mildly interested me was Rec. Last good movies that actually freaked me the heck out was jeepers creepers and texas chainsaw remake lol. Anyway anyone got any recommendations?

depends on what scares you. If you are afraid of space, then Event Horizon should do you in, if you're afraid of movies that mess with your mind, the Orphanage (in Spanish), Exorcist or Poltergeist are good, if you like live action types, Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity and The Last Exorcism are all scary. All the ones I mentioned certainly stayed with me after the fact, which is what makes the movies that much scarier.
poltergeist is really cool yes in the mouth of madness is really one of my favorite movies but it's hard for me to consider it a "scary" movie or even a "horror" i see it more as a psychological thriller or something never heard of prince of darkness. it looks kind of badass! In the Mouth of Madness

You guys sure love supernatural movies, I see nothing wrong with them but idk... what happend to the days of Freddy,Jason,Chucky,Michael myers, hell razor, candyman. heck even I know what you did last summer. I think the only supernatural movie I probably ever liked was The ring because at the time nothing like that ever came out it was like WTF!?! ya know? Thats one of the reasons I didn't like rec 2 too much, but rec was sorta like a zombie flick.
Try Insidious. raven_squadidk what that is but the imdb picture reminded me of "the good son" "pet cemetary" and "the omen" also, "the bad seed"
um freddie krueger, jason vorhees, chucky, hell raiser monsters, jesus christ all of those are supernatural bad guys what are you talking aboutYou guys sure love supernatural movies, I see nothing wrong with them but idk... what happend to the days of Freddy,Jason,Chucky,Michael myers, hell razor, candyman. heck even I know what you did last summer. Those are supernatural but I agree with you. I miss classic slasher movies with a real character. You guys sure love supernatural movies, I see nothing wrong with them but idk... what happend to the days of Freddy,Jason,Chucky,Michael myers, hell razor, candyman. heck even I know what you did last summer. [QUOTE="Santesyu"]um freddie krueger, jason vorhees, chucky, hell raiser monsters, jesus christ all of those are supernatural bad guys what are you talking about LoL now that I think about it you are right!, What I meant by supernatural is paranormal activity, emily rose, stuff like that, it seems to be all the craze now adays, the stuff I was talking about is supernatural but that aint the whole aspect of the movie.. Yeah you knew freddy died and could attack you from your dreams, but the aspect of the movie was him attacking you in your dreams lol.. its not about he is a ghost hunting a house, same for the others. You guys sure love supernatural movies, I see nothing wrong with them but idk... what happend to the days of Freddy,Jason,Chucky,Michael myers, hell razor, candyman. heck even I know what you did last summer. You don't consider Chucky, Pinhead (The main antagonist in Hellraiser) or Freddy supernatural? They really cannot exist in the real world. A living doll, and being from hell and child killer that inhabits your dreams.

You mean a more physical in your face corporeal enemy, rather than some imagined bump in the night.

Only supernatural movie that I liked was 1408 but for the rest alot more in your face.
I thought Exorcist: The Beginning (2004) was pretty good. Not terribly scary, but it had a good atmosphere to it. I don't know which Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake you've seen, but the one with Jessica Biels was awesome IMO. The Hills Have Eyes II (2007) is another favorite. Though it's a bit cheesy in the beginning, it develops some great scary atmosphere once it gets going. Wrong Turn (2003) is good too.
And of course there's Alien if you haven't seen that. There's also [REC] 2 which is supposedly very good.

that one was really scary too! The concept creeped me out, because in a way, it is possible, I suppose.
Mostly everything I like has said, but I think Ravenous deserves a mention for being a great film with a awsome soundtrack, but not that scary more of a horror thriller I guess.
texas chainsaw massacre - i never finished itJandurinHaha I watched that film while suffering the effects of a particular illegal hallucinogenic drug once, I don't recommend it, but it wasn't as messed up as The Three Caballeros. My choice for this thread would be the original Halloween. Awesomesauce.
I still haven't watched Evil Dead, planning to tonight, as the last scary movie I saw was some stupid horror flick in London Underground. These brits can only make good teaNude_Dudeevil dead 2 > evil dead imo ofc
Nightmare on Elm Street the first and remake are good
-Insidious was fine
-Amityville Horror, both the 1970's version and the 2005 remake. Great films
-Stephan King's IT- TV movie about a creepy murderous clown, If you hate them then Pennywise may scare you Sh!tless
-Child's Play-Murderous creepy doll. Need I say more?
Candyman is one of my consistant favorites to revisit at least once or twice a year, or if you prefer a nice, vicious homage to old school rampaging killers there's always Hatchet (2007) which also has a sequel Hatchet II which though I found it somewhat lacking, I have to admit it probably has the best final girl moment ever captured on film which fans of these kinds of film will greatly appreciate.
